TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BFOCUS PHOTO + DESIGN RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ITS POLICIES AND CONTRACTS AT ANYTIME WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION. Photographer has the right to deny services at any time.

BOOKING POLICY:

In order for an appointment to be booked, a 30% deposit is required through Square. The deposit is non-refundable. If no deposit is made, then your spot will NOT be booked. The remaining balance will be due the day of the session. Please book 2 weeks in advance for all sessions not including Weddings, Engagement, or Bridal sessions.

For last-minute scheduling or any inconveniences, there is a $50 inconvenience fee that will be applied to your session’s total amount. Last-minute scheduling is considered same-week appointments so a $50 fee is REQUIRED.

Any fees that are not added at booking, will be added for you on the day of your session.

STUDIO POLICY:

You are required to show up dressed for your first look UNLESS wardrobe prohibits you from being dressed prior to your session. Hair and makeup must be done prior to the photoshoot UNLESS you have booked the makeup/hair station.

Please keep family and friends to a minimum at photoshoot. Space is limited to 1-2 people only. Guest of the client MUST sit in the lounge area throughout the photoshoot UNLESS assisting photographer/client.

No kids are allowed in the studio unless they are apart of the photoshoot.

Clients and or guest(s) will not be able to view images via the photographer’s camera during the photo session. In the studio there will be a monitor setup that you will be able to review images before the session ends.

Payment will be expected immediately if equipment is damaged by client or guest of the client.

Photographer is not responsible to supply any additional props or accessories prior to or during session.

Travel Fees POLICY:

For locations outside of the studio, there is a flat rate of $25 if the location is within 25 miles. For locations outside of this range, there is a travel fee rate of .60 cents per mile round trip.

LATE POLICY:

There is a $50 late fee once you are 15 minutes for your scheduled session. After being 30 minutes late, your session will be canceled with no refund. Late arrivals will result in shorter sessions. If additional time is desired by the client, (depending on the photographer's availability), a $50 fee will be applied to the remaining balance.
Please be mindful that there are clients who've booked appointments after your session.

Hair and Makeup are to be done before your shoot time and you should be dressed in your first look.

RESCHEDULING POLICY:

Deposits are non-refundable. Rescheduling is available up to 72 hours of the desired shoot date. Should the photographer be unable to accommodate the client's rescheduled session, the client will not be held responsible for the remaining balance but will forfeit their initial deposit. If rescheduling happens within hours before the session’s start time, a $50 inconvenience fee will be charged to reschedule.

Let us know asap via email at bfocusphotography1@gmail.com and reschedule within two weeks or the deposit will be forfeited.

Deposit cannot be transferred to any other services.

If you must cancel, you are required to contact photographer or assistant within 72 hours prior to your session. If you do not cancel, you will be considered a no-show and cannot book again.

TURNAROUND TIME:

Clients will receive all image proofs via Client Online Gallery within 2 days of the session. Image proofs are watermarked and unedited. Photo editing usually takes a minimum of 14 business days to be completed. Business days EXCLUDE weekends. Weekends are strictly for shooting. The editing period starts after the images are selected for editing by the client.

Wedding turnaround time is subject to a 5 week turnaround time from the date of the wedding. The rush editing fee will be $200 (2 weeks)

There is a possibility that photos may take longer depending on the season. Please make sure to plan and book your session accordingly.

For a rush edit, there is a fee of $100 (2-5 days).

Want additional edits from your session? No problem, each additional edited image is $20.
Unedited images without a watermark will never be allowed at any given point. All images that are unedited must have a watermark.

Mask is OPTIONAL for photographer, assistants, and guests in the studio.

2 guests are allowed during your photo session on location or in the studio.

You must communicate with the photographer prior to your session if you will be having any guests present during your session.

If you feel sick, please do not come to your scheduled session even if it is a minor common cold.

You will be allowed to reschedule your session prior to the date if you have any kind of illness.

The photographer has all rights to cancel any sessions if the client appears to have any COVID-19 related symptoms. Please see CDC Guidelines for signs and symptoms.
